Farewell Gathering

Yesterday, Sept. 28, Mallory spoke at her farewell sacrament meeting. She spoke about the first principles of the gospel and about her decision to go on a mission. She did a fantastic job and the spirit was strong! After the meeting she partied with family and friends! Friends from high school, college roomies, and frenchies too! It was awesome to see all the love and support!

The Temple

Mallory went through the Mt. Timpanogos Temple to take out her endowments on September 4, 2008. There was another sister missionary that was in the same session. It just so happens that this cute sister is headed for Italy as well! The exact same mission and they enter the MTC on the same day! Small World!

Although Kim and Glenn were certainly missed, Mallory was glad that the rest of her family could be there. Thanks guys!!

Opening the Call

After expecting her call to come on Wednesday, it wasn't until Thursday July 17, 2008 that Mallory received her call to serve for 18 months in the Italy Rome Mission!
She will enter the MTC in Provo, UT on October 15, 2008

She was really glad one of her best friends from high school, Mindy Sermon, could be there when she opened it. Mindy will be leaving August 13th for the Texas Fort Worth Mission. They've really enjoyed preparing together.
