Overnight in Paris ~ What a punishment

We just received a call from Mallory informing us that after about a 5 hour delay in Paris they were notified that their direct flight to Salt Lake City had been canceled due to a defective right engine. We're sure that Mallory is devastated by the news that they will be staying in Paris for the rest of the day and tonight. The airline has provided them with hotel and food vouchers, and we are waiting to hear when she will arrive home. We are expecting sometime tomorrow night.
